Today, Sean De Freitas, General Manager, leads a team of dedicated, customer-focused professionals, using the latest signmaking technology to ensure that every Saunders sign is manufactured to the highest possible industry standards.
The company’s innovative approach includes a unique signage software system which manages every project from initial estimate through design, production and installation, ensuring the highest possible level of quality, efficiency and reliability.
Saunders’ large manufacturing base is located at Margate, just 10 minutes’ drive south of Hobart. The facility centralises every aspect of sign production, with an on-site graphic design department and significant digital and screen printing capacity.

Sean De Freitas - General Manager
Sean brings 20 years + signage industry sales and management experience to his role at Saunders Signs. His experience with state and national signage companies is complemented with an overview of current international signage best practice. Sean's specialty is rejuvenating client's businesses through the effective use of well-targeted strategic signage.
Brad Williams - Business Development Manager
Brad has operated his own successful business for over 20 years and has extensive knowledge of the sign industry and it's manufacturing processes. Additionally, he has recently managed a national signage programme, project managing, manufacturing and installing signage for a large national retail chain all around the country. As BDM, Brad is keen to assist businesses create a fresh new look and impetus to their corporate image.
Mark Matar – Account Manager
Mark has been involved in the Advertising industry for many years, dealing with major clients from both the public and private sector. With a real understanding of clien'ts needs, Mark is able to tailor a signage solution that will work effectively and suit any budget range.
Eric Baker – Production Manager
Eric has expertise in every aspect of signage manufacture, metal fabrication and production scheduling. He leads our experienced team of sign fabricators and installers who are focused on quality workmanship from the smallest job to the largest.
Design Department
Saunders’ dedicated design department has a wealth of high level graphic design qualifications and skills, with a focus on design that is contemporary, sharp and professional. Currently we have two graduate designers; Travis Hutchins (Design Director) and Aaron Wasil, both of whom are skilled using the Adobe suite of graphic design software.
